Portrait of Shelbie Williams

Shelbie Williams, FNP-C

Shelbie was born and raised in Arizona, and currently calls Buckeye home. She was raised in Waddell and went to Millennium High School. Shelbie played NCAA softball for Georgia College, where she was a 4-year starter as a catcher. After obtaining her BA in Mass Communication, from Georgia College, she came home to Arizona and started her nursing journey.

Shortly after returning home from college, she met the love of her life. Lewis and Shelbie have been married for 10 years and now have 3 children: Evelyn, Tucker, and Cooper. Shelbie’s nursing journey started with obtaining her BSN from Chamberlain University in 2013. She worked for Banner Thunderbird’s NICU as a registered nurse. Shelbie’s passion for mothers and children sparked in the time spent in the NICU. In 2015, she became a midwife’s assistant for homebirths in the Phoenix area.

Shelbie returned to school and earned her MSN-FNP from Chamberlain University in 2023. As a family nurse practitioner, she has a passion to incorporate functional ideals to heal and treat all patients. She has a passion for women and infants, lactation, and pediatrics. Her passion also extends to educating patients that healthcare does not have to be a one size fits all, each person’s healthcare experience is different. She is excited to bring a needed change in the approach to healthcare to the Buckeye community!
